Memories

When memories are enabled for an agent (or for the default agent on the app), the AI can remember useful facts about a person across conversations. Use this for coaching-style continuity (“preferred meeting time”, “avoid Wednesdays”). Do not use memories as your system of record for money, inventory, or compliance data; put those in tables and durable app actions. Confirm App Settings → Agent → Memories (default path for owner/admin), and the agent’s own memories toggle if you use dedicated agents. Have two portal chats as the same role and confirm useful facts carry when expected. Structured facts you care about should still live in Tables and the actions that update them. New apps turn Memories on by default for the System agent; turn the app setting off if you do not want that. Memories are different from the Scratchpad (short-term notes for one builder conversation). Roles without an agent do not get portal chat or My Memories. In the portal, My Memories is under More in the drawer, or in the profile menu when chrome is Tabs.
