Consents

Consents is under Manage. It is for the app, not for one workspace. A purpose is one reason to text people from one of your numbers, such as appointment reminders. Promotions on the same number are a separate purpose.

What people see

Each purpose has a form link. The form shows who is texting, the wording, how often you text, and how to stop. The agreement box starts unchecked. After they submit, the page confirms the purpose and the number. Texting STOP to that number stops messages from it, including ones already scheduled. Agreeing again uses the form.

Looking someone up

Search a phone number. You see each purpose as granted, withdrawn, or none, and whether the agreement came from the form or from a note you recorded. Owners and admins can record a note for one phone. That note does not override STOP. Editors can look someone up and cannot change wording or record a note. Changing the wording asks you to confirm, because people who already agreed have to agree again before texts for that purpose can send. Connecting the sending number stays under App Settings → Advanced. Consents does not ask for the texting provider password. This records permission. It does not certify that your wording meets a particular law.
