Views (AI reports)

Under App Blueprint → Views, GenieForge stores saved report templates. When someone runs a view, the AI uses your app’s tools to gather data and present a structured summary for that project. You describe the recurring analysis you need; GenieForge maps it into views when that fits.

Where it lives

App Blueprint → Views. You can also run views from the project area in the builder. Views are blueprint templates; each run uses the selected project’s live data.

How to verify

  1. Find the view under App Blueprint → Views.
  2. Run it in a project with realistic data.
  3. Confirm the wrong role cannot open it.
  4. Re-run after tool or role changes. Treat the result as analysis, not a substitute for Preview of interactive pages or Executions for automations.

Limits and notes

  • Views read through your existing tools and permissions; they do not bypass roles.
  • Not a full QA suite for pages or automations. Still use Preview and Executions for those.
  • Views stay in the builder today; the portal sidebar shows pages and forms. Preview can still open views from the builder nav.
