Notifications

GenieForge can reach people when something needs attention: a status change, a digest, or an alert. You describe who should learn what, and when. GenieForge chooses the channel wiring (email, in-app, push when enabled, or webhook into a system you control). A notification is a ping. Assigned follow-up lives in the portal Work inbox when that role has Work (see Customer portal).

How to verify

  1. Trigger the path in Preview as (or Run Now on an automation).
  2. Confirm email and/or portal in-app inbox as that audience.
  3. Check Executions or Communications if delivery is unclear.
  4. For webhooks, confirm your external system received the call and that outbound hosts are allowed under App Settings → Connections → Outbound network.

Channels

Reusable templates and scheduled reports help with digests. When you notify someone, link them to the right page when you can. Email can include small project files as real attachments (non-HIPAA); for larger files, share a download link in the body instead. On HIPAA apps, attachments stay in the signed-in inbox, not in the mailbox. Push and some delivery options may depend on your account. If push is missing from the UI, ask support@genieforge.ai. Builders and collaborators have an Inbox in the app sidebar. Messages sent to your account email show up there (the same list the in-app AI uses for the platform user). Clicking an email in the portal bell dropdown or the full Notifications list opens the message. In-app and push rows with a click target go straight to that page from the bell.
