HTTP APIs and web data

Your app can call external HTTP APIs with GenieForge’s network safeguards. Some accounts also get managed Web Data Sources for pulling structured records from websites. You describe the sync or lookup outcome and where secrets live; GenieForge maps hosts, credentials, and the run path.

How to verify

  1. Confirm secrets under Environment Variables and hosts under Outbound network.
  2. Run the sync or lookup path; check Executions.
  3. Confirm rows landed in the project and errors are readable.
  4. If Web Data Sources or a similar extra is missing from the UI, ask support@genieforge.ai whether it is enabled for your account.

Limits and notes

  • Do not paste API keys into chat.
  • Web Data Sources, web search, and page rendering may depend on your account.
  • Prefer durable syncs GenieForge maintains over asking Chat to scrape ad hoc every time.
