# Inviting and managing end users

Your customers use a **separate login system** from your builder account.

Typical flow:

1. Select the **project** that should hold their data.
2. Open **End-Users** in that project’s sidebar.
3. Invite them by email and choose a **role**.
4. They accept the invite, set a password, and sign in through the portal.

If you want people to sign up themselves, use **App Settings → Registration**:

* **Project Registration** lets people self-register and join existing projects (projects can override this).
* **App Registration** lets people self-register as new tenants; each registrant gets a new project.

Most customer apps use invites and/or Project Registration. App Registration is for multi-tenant “each customer gets their own project” setups.

To try the experience yourself without inviting anyone, open **Preview** and use **Preview as** to switch roles.

You can manage access and revoke sessions from End-Users. If an invite or portal login is stuck and you cannot fix it in the UI, email [support@genieforge.ai](mailto:support@genieforge.ai).
