# What GenieForge is

GenieForge is a **Living Software** platform. You describe an app in plain language; GenieForge assembles and runs a persistent product: database, business logic, pages, forms, automations, notifications, a customer portal, and an AI that stays inside after launch.

It uses a **conversational application factory** as the mechanism: you chat in Build mode, approve plans, and the AI works against first-class primitives (tools, pages, roles, hooks, versions) instead of dumping a pile of frontend code you have to host yourself.

You get a real application, not a chat that forgets everything.
